Q: How do I change the volume? The hardware volume keys don't work.
A: The application does not use the hardware keys. Move the joystick left or right to change the volume.
Q: Where can I find more stations to listen to?
A: Try the main Shoutcast site. You can copy station links from here to playlists for use with the application.
Q: How do I add more stations to the list of stations?
A: Read the complete instructions in the User's Guide.
Q: Does the Nokia Internet Radio support rtp stream, like rtp://233.xx.xxx.xx:5004(an example)?
A: No, only HTTP streams are supported.
Q: Is there a charge for the service? I see a "Price" field in the UI.
A: The "Price" field does not record any actual charges or fees. There is no extra charge to listen to Internet radio with this application. You are responsible, however, for any data charges that your mobile operator may require. Streaming audio requires a large amount of data traffic, which can become very expensive if you do not have an unlimited data plan.
Q: My favorite station broadcasts in AAC+, but my phone cannot play it. Is there any way to add an AAC+ codec to my phone?
A: Sadly, that's not possible. If your phone does not support AAC+, you can only listen to the stations that broadcast in MP3.
Q: What about Windows Media (WMA) streaming?
A: Internet radio stations that stream Windows Media Audio (WMA) use a different protocol in addtion to a different audio format. The Internet Radio for S60 client only supports the Shoutcast protocol in MP3 and AAC+, and there are no current plans to add additional protocols to the client. S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 supports the WMA codec in the platform, so an energetic developer may be able to create a WMA streaming client using the Internet Radio source code.
Q: The application does not install, it gives error "Expired certificate" ?
A: Certificate is too old. Set your phone's time back by a year or so and try installing again.
